Research Project
The alcohol was diluted, using distilled water to avoid impurities, to see how it might effect the mist produced. There was no effect to the mist, however the water froze onto the metal plate causing a light layer of snow to form. This made the tracks impossible to see since the snow reflected the light from the projector as such the tracks blended in with the white.

The size and placement of the felt, used to soak up the alcohol, was also varied. This had no noticeable effect.

When trying to improve the seal, some rubber tubing was cut in half and lined around the lip of the tank. This, too, made no improvement.
