Research Project
When coming up with the final design it quickly became apparent that making use of the on-campus workshop would become far too expensive, so all the necessary equipment was sourced and ordered and the chamber was built in the lab.

The box containing the dry ice was made of MDF which came pre-cut, so all that was necessary was to drill and screw it together. Acrylic was chosen for the chamber, being lighter than glass and a lot safer. Should it be dropped, for example, it wouldn't shatter. The acrylic also arrived pre-cut and was carefully glued together.
