Research Project
Running the chamber with varying amounts of alcohol (20ml - 60ml: the maximum the felt in the chamber could absorb) only increased the operation time which, since the 20ml version ran for about 1 1/2 hrs, was insignificant (considering the students will not view it for even this long).

When trying a smaller chamber size, it was apparent that there was some activity, however the edges of the chamber frosted up too much (from condesation) making it hard to see. Therefore the reptile tanks were used for the remaining experiments. However, for the display version a larger chamber would be necessary. As such a large fish tank was tested, it was . I had decided however, to concentrate on improving the students version before moving onto the display one, so that I could incorporate any findings.
