This website was launched on 19 March 2004, the first
anniversary of the US-UK invasion of Iraq. It aims to advance understanding
of the current world crisis by publishing new articles and providing links to
good quality material elsewhere on the internet. Its outlook is cosmopolitan,
democratic and egalitarian, but serious contributions are invited from any
perspective. If you would like to contribute an article, book review
