Day Research Group and NMR Service

Varian 600 MHz

This is the principle research machine used by the Day group and the NMR service. It is capable of detecting any nucleus from protons to nitrogen-15. The Penta probe is ideal for biological samples, or general inverse detection methods, while the AutoX DB probe is used mainly for direct observation of any nuclei between proton and nitrogen-15, including fluorine-19.
