Overall Picture

This study seeks to understand how children work with diagrams such as graphs and charts using computer technology. The research is aimed at improving how diagrams are taught and used in the curriculum. We wish to test research-based software that allows children to have engaging experiences and to develop their graphic skills.

For most of the activities, your child will interact with a touch screen computer. The study might include video and audio equipment as a way to record the session, with your consent. The study will take place indoors and your child will be supervised at all times.

The time taken for completing all the activities is between 40 to 60 minutes.

We are doing this study at Sussex University (Chichester 1 Building). However, if there is a small/big amount of children and parents interested in participating with us, but in a different location, please contact us, we will do our best to get where you are.
