The Millennium Man

Galileo Galilei, d'you know who I mean?
He was the one who caused such a scene!

He argued with the church for most of his life,
And gave his tutors a load of strife!

But if it wasn't for old Galileo, we'd have many less things,
If he were alive today, he'd be richer than a king!

He shouted out many strange and new ideas,
And gave to his people many new fears.
``The sun doesn't go round the earth! The earth isn't flat!''
You can imagine what the church thought of that!

But seriously, Galileo was a man of the MILLENNIUM,
Some people could say, he's a walking PLANETARIUM!!!
