Ecological macroeconomics

I have an interest in financial and ecological stability in macroeconomics using complex dynamical systems approaches. Mainstream economic theory does not treat the macroeconomy as a complex system, assuming it to be a system that merely fluctuates around equilibrium. However in order to predict and explain economic crises, non-linear, non-equilibrium, complex systems modelling is needed- see my blog post here, and a summary of my recent paper here.
