Meet the Team

The Project

The borderscapes podcast series is created as part of the University of Sussex’s MA Podcasting module. Each aspect of the project has been run by students participating in this module. That means the promotion on social media, web design, graphics, sound and music and distribution were all organised by the student team. This year, due to COVID-19, all of this was arranged online, so we’ve spent a lot of time sitting on zoom this year.

As if handling all this wasn’t enough, each member of the team also took on the creation of their own podcast episode. The wide range of topics covered in the episodes, from social media detoxes to the issues surrounding VAR in football, reflects the variety of the backgrounds and interests the team has. You can read each of the MA’s we’re involved in on the MAH@Sussex page and about the team here.

Currently, the team is still busy working on their podcast episodes. However, if you can’t wait to listen to something till then, this is actually the second year that the project has run. Head to Borderscapes 2020 to listen to what the team got up to last year.
