The synthesizer intro is the first difference to grab your ears, but if you have both the vinyl and CD versions of _Reconstructions_ you can hear that on the CD version the bass line has been rerecorded as have the drums. I presume (based upon Kerry's solo work on most instruments on _Prime Mover_ and all of them on _OoSPM_) that Kerry decided to beef up the bass and drums in much the same way that he decided to improve "No Standing" on _Decade_. To my ear there is no difference in the recording of the final eight songs from the album. The drums and some guitars were re-recorded, and it was re-mixed to digital. It is my understanding that it was a double lp; the second lp being a one-sided interview with Mr. Sylvian. I also understand there was extra artwork, only some 500 were made and though I'm not sure I believe this, Mr. Sylvian autographed each one. Anyway, I would *LOVE* to get my hands on a copy. ===== From someone on the net: "Finally, does anyone here on the list remember an early '80s artist named Zaine Griff. He released just two albums, 'Automatic' (1980) and 'Figures' (1982), the latter featuring guest appearances from Kate Bush, Yukihiro Takahashi and Midge Ure. Both albums were produced by a then relatively unknown fellow called Hans Zimmer." ===== Dio, Ronnie James|The Great Deceiver (bootleg LP) with 2 demos of "Mask of the Great Deceiver" and "To Live For The King", 1985; Joker records, JOK1 ===== Ink in the well Recorded September 1987 by Mikael Nilsson of Sveriges Riksradio AB (Limited edition of 500)
