Subject: Original U.K. reforming

... U.K. is reforming with the original members.  Bill Bruford, John
Wetton, Eddie Jobson, and Alan Holdsworth.  News of this comes from
the KC shows in NYC.  Apparently, after the show, Jobson and Bruford
were discussing doing new recording sessions with the original lineup.
This comes from someone in my office, whos fellow band mate talked
with Bruford and Jobson after the show.  This is as much as a
confirmation as I have, but I do know the person in my office is very
reliable, so I believe it to be true.  If you have not picked up the
first U.K. album (with Holdsworth and Bruford), it is one worth
owning.  It will be good to hear the original band again.

Subject: Latest from Jobson

[Eddie says that he] 'read the impressive collection of information on
the Internet and that he learnt some things about himself he didn't
know' (I don't know which things).

Also he's installing a mixing console in his studio for the UK
recording which will probably start next month (please mention this on
the list).  Bruford visited the studio and seemed very keen on being a
special guest on the new UK album.  John Wetton will leave for New
York the 10th of July (if I'm right, I can't remember the exact date).

According to Milly of the Jobson fan club, Bruford *is* on the album.
Apparently they have already been recorded at Gabriel's RealWorld
studios.

Also from Milly:

* Eddie "spends days and nights" in his studio working on the UK
album...

* On Jan 28 Wetton left for Eddie's studio to record.  As of Jan 29th,
only 3 songs were completed.

* Apparently, Jobson and Wetton think that "the album is really going
to turn some heads" (let's hope that we're not talking "The Exorcist"
here!)

* The album will probably be released in the Autumn.
