Some copies of the LP included a full-colour poster.
Tips for pronounciation: "Vemod" sounds more like via-MOOD than VEM-odd. And while I'm at it: "Jan Erik" is more like yahn EH-reek, not jan AIR-rick.
Tracks: Nucleus Harvest Book Of Hours Raft Rubankh Here This Far From The Sky In FreedomVemod is currently Anekdoten's only full-length release, but the long-awaited second album, Nucleus, has been recorded and is due out the 23rd of November.
Recording report from Jan Erik (Sun, 15 Oct 1995): "We are doing cello/violin/voice overdubs at the moment and we hope to be mixing the record in about 2 weeks." (The violin is being played by a guest performer.)
On Oct 10th, Andy Clegg said: "CYCLOPS are distributing the new Anekdoten CD Nucleus in the UK on November 27th. I have the track listing but as yet the order has not been confirmed (one track is an as yet untitled instrumental). Jan Erik Liljestrom will be faxing the final order in the next few days."
The Nucleus release has (unfortunately) been post-poned to (somewhere around) the 20th of December. "Nucleus" will also (eventually) be available on LP from the Gates Of Dawn label. From Jan Erik (Nov 29th, 1995): "The CD was mastered on Friday the 24th and the films for the booklet should be done on Friday. This means that the CD's will hopefully be by us on the 15th (or the 18th of December), but if things are going the way they have this far we should be lucky if we have them by Christmas! :-)"
