My research interests are in how computational concepts and modelling can help us to understand human (and animal) minds. So I'm interested in the relations between AI-Life, theoretical psychology, and the philosophy of mind (and also in the social implications of AI-Life). In particular: purpose, motivation, and creativity.
I have two children, and passions for India and Polynesia.
