Social and International Theory

This research seeks to contribute to contemporary debates in international theory, from a historical materialist perspective. This includes work on:

  • theories of global governance
  • the limitations of Foucauldian and post-structuralist approaches to International Relations
  • the philosophy and politics of Edward Said
  • political Marxism and the study of IR
