FAQ Internships and Postdocs

Note: From December 2010 I leave the employment of the University of Sussex, so basically you are asking the wrong person! But this advice below is left as possibly still relevant.

Internships
We get several requests  for 'Internships' from people who wish to spend a few months with us, perhaps on a project that we provide. We do not do this here.

Postdocs
We occasionally have funded research projects for which we employ postdocs. These positions will be advertised and require specific expertise. If you anticipate having relevant expertise for the sort of research that we do, then contacting us in advance may  assist in getting first notice of any such forthcoming opportunities.

Visiting Research Fellows
If you have your own funding and are an active researcher in areas associated with our interests, then it may be possible to negotiate a visiting research fellowship as a postdoc.
