FAQ EASy MSc funding

What are the tuition fees?
See http://www.sussex.ac.uk/study/pg/applying/fees/ and links from that. In particular UK/EU students should note the new ELQ rules that mean (roughly) that if you have more than just a first degree -- eg if you already have a Masters or PhD in some different area -- you will not benefit from the full subsidy that brings tuition fees down to Home/EU levels.

Funding for 2010 Entrants

The EPSRC has stopped their previous funding policy, hence we no longer have a pot of money to allocate from that source.

We do have a new source of funding from a (much-appreciated!) sponsor.
News: Feb 2010. Pegge Scholarships on offer from Oct 2010
For this (and probably any further sources) allocation will be based on merit, and there will be strong competition for limited funding. All applicants will be considered automatically for the Pegge Scholarships.

In general, in view of the strong competition and very limited funding, you are advised to plan your application on the basis that you must find your own funding.

Non-Sussex funding
You may find more information here. If you are applying for funding from some other organisation, we may be able to write a letter in support of your application..
