The seminar exercises accompany the lectures for the course Introduction to Logic. The material covered provides practice in the techniques and concepts introduced on the course, and should serve as a useful resource for revision purposes.
Each week, students are expected to spend a short time tackling problems relating to the course material covered most recently in the lectures. Students are encouraged to break into small groups to discuss the exercises, rather than to work individually. The last half of each session will be spent going through the exercises as a whole class, with everyone contributing.
It is not necessary to prepare for these classes by tackling the exercises ahead of time. Attendance is however, an important and compulsory part of the course.
