There are two alternative 32-bit compiled Mac OSX
executables of the May2013 update: 

ddlabx11_macPB32 compiled on OSX 10.4.11 PowerPC G4 PowerBook (2005) 
ddlabx11_macML32 compiled on OSX 10.8.2  Intel Mountain Lion (2013)

They are incompatible; please use the executable that matches your Mac.
For other Mac processors (i.e. Motorola) or for a 64-bit version,
you will need to recompile from the source code and Makefile provided 
in www.ddlab.org.

Run from a terminal in X11, which must be installed.

ddlabx11_macPB32.tar.gz 
ddlabx11_macML32.tar.gz

... will unpack to give the executable and this readme.

To run DDLab, from a terminal in X11,
from the directory with the DDLab files, 
enter the name of the executable preceded by ./ and followed by &

./ddlabx11_macML32 & 

Alternatively, first change directory to "ddfiles"
then enter the name of the executable preceded by ../ and followed by &
This will keep files generated by DDLab in the ddfiles subdirectory.
